Miami – North Bayshore

The Miami skyline is a dynamic and iconic urban landscape that beautifully blends modernity and early 20th century residential mid-rise buildings with its coastal charm, offering a unique aerial perspective of its vibrant cityscape on the North Bayshore of Biscayne Bay from the MacArthur Causeway to the Julia Tuttle Causeway.

The skyline is dominated by mix of sleek glass architectural styles with luxurious skyscrapers buildings that are a visual testament to the city’s high standard of living, status as a global business hub and a popular tourist destination.

Miami Vision is a series of large size panoramic photographs and video by Raul C. Pedroso that document the urban landscape of Miami and various South Florida Cities. These images reveal a new era of urbanism, capturing the fleeting moments in the realm of our urban skyline that we frequently imagine but rarely see.

The project is ongoing since 2008, with the objective of creating a library of images that would evoke thoughts and memories of a great city at the beginning of an era. These beautiful images were made to attract the viewer to look ever closer and discover details that one may never see in the rush of every day drive by.
